NSW artists, producers and presenters, regional and metro, have identified a lack of opportunities for connecting and building relationships across the state. Arts on Tour, in partnership with the NSW & ACT Performing Arts Centres Association (NAPACA) is working on ways to address this, and before the year is out we reckon there’s just (only just) enough time to squeeze in piloting a new initiative – SALON.

SALON is a platform for Pecha Kucha-style pitches from NSW-based artists and producers to facilitate connections with NAPACA members around work. It’s a small-scale, lo-fi conversation starter without the bells and whistles of a full-blown showcase.

We invite NSW artists and producers to submit an EOI for pitching a tour ready work, a work in development or an idea looking for partnerships. If you are selected to pitch, travel funding is available for regionally-based artists/producers. Presenters will also have the opportunity to pitch their venues to facilitate connections.

We encourage EOIs from all performing arts genres and are interested in productions looking to tour to both metro and regional venues, large and small in 2019 and beyond.
