Young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with a passion for the performing arts are invited to register their interest to audition for NAISDA Dance College’s 2018 intake.
NAISDA is Australia’s elite registered training organisation offering full-time, nationally-accredited education and qualifications in contemporary, cultural dance and performance studies for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Many of the College’s alumni go on to enjoy successful careers in the arts industry, including residencies at Bangarra Dance Theatre, as well as roles in television and film, the theatre, the music industry and beyond.
This year’s auditions will be held from 4 December to 8 December 2017 at NAISDA’s campus on the New South Wales Central Coast and are open to aspiring artists around Australian who are aged between 16 and 26 upon enrolment.
NAISDA can provide eligible auditionees with advice as to how to apply to cover the costs of transport to and from the auditions.
