Major or hallmark events bring a wide range of social, cultural and economic benefits to a region and attract a significant proportion of their visitors or participants from outside of the region. For those with a focus on arts and culture, they also enliven the host community and add to the quality of its cultural life. The Mid North Coast has a number of these events, some well established and loved while others are bringing new ideas and creative energy to the region.

Please check the individual event websites or our What’s On to confirm the event dates in any one year. You can also go to Annual Events for the many community based festivals and events that feature the creative talent and energy of the Mid North Coast.
