The Amber Rooms

April 4 - May 13
For this exhibition, each artist has created a series of artworks that were inspired by the contents of the room. A symbol of both Russian and German greatness, the ‘Amber Room’ was the pride and joy of the House of Romanov. Its contents mysteriously disappeared during World War II and have never been found. In recent decades, Russian craftsmen and scientists have recreated this marvelous chamber. However, rumours regarding the whereabouts of the original ‘Amber Room’ still spark debate among enthusiasts today.
Exhibition Opening: Saturday 7 April 6pm $10 entry/$7 ‘Friends’ members
