Interwoven

Interwoven is a cultural exchange program between the Yarrawarra Aboriginal Cultural Centre and the Woolgoolga Art Group. Late last year, workshops were held by each group in their respective galleries. Participants worked in basketry and in print-making to create works for exhibition in each Gallery. They have since been on show at Yarrawarra and now head to Woolgoolga Art and Craft Gallery. The show opens on Friday 11 January at 6pm.

This group exhibition takes a look at insects through the eyes of artists and photographers. Manning Valley photographer, Kevin Mitchell has spent the past 2 years painstakingly photographing insects using an interesting technique called focus stacking.
