What is Connect and how do I submit details?
Connect is a space where Touring shows can submit their details and possible presenters can connect with you
If you are a touring show and you are looking for a presenter you can submit your shows details and dates of performance through the submit a news article form, select connect from the drop down box, agree to the Terms and Condition and then submit your details.
All articles submitted will be reviewd by an AMNC Staff member before being published, please allow up to 48 hours for articles to be approved and posted onto the website.
If you are presenters looking for shows that may be touring close by and you are looking to put on a show then you can find details of possible shows through the connect page

I want to upload PDF, Video or Music Files
If you are an author and would like to upload PDF snapshots of your works then you will need to send them directly to communications@artsmidnorthcoast.org and we will upload them for you.
If you are a Musician or a Film Maker and want to upload music or film/video then we strongly recomend that you open a you tube account, upload your files to Youtube and then place links to your files in your profile text. or send the links to communications@artsmidnorthcoast.org and we will embed them for you

I have added a listing/profile and it wouldnt submit?
Chances are that any images that you have added are too big to be accepted by the submission form, if this is the case then view the question how-do-i-optimise-an-image-for-uploading-to-the-site

I have added a listing and it doesnt appear on the website ?
Once you have submitted a listing it may take up to 48 hours before it is approved to be published by a staff member of AMNC.
Items will only be approved during normal working hours – Monday to Friday 9am – 4pm
If your listing has not appeared after this time frame then do not hesitate to contact AMNC for further details.
If AMNC do not see that your listing is relevant or appropriate to be published you will be contacted provided you have supplied a contact point.

How do I submit an Event ?
To submit an event to the Arts Mid North Coast Calendar of events visit the Submit an Event Form , enter the event details and be as specific as you can.
Enter the address details of the event so that Google maps can give an accurate location, agree to the Terms and Conditions and then submit.
Arts Mid North Coast will then be informed that you have submitted an event and a staff member will then publish your listing to the website directory for public viewing. After submitting your event please allow up to 48 hours for the event to be published.

How do i submit an artist profile to the Arts MNC website?
To submit a profile to the Arts Mid North Coast Website you need to visit the Submit Profile form and enter your details into the form. Select a profile picture from your local machine to add to your profile and then select six images of your work. Please select your medium type, you can select more than one and Agree to the Terms and Conditions and then press the submit button.
Arts Mid North Coast will then be informed that you have submitted a profile and a staff member will then publish your profile to the website for public viewing. After submitting your profile please allow up to 48 hours for the profile to be published.

How do I submit a listing to the Cultural Trail ?
To submit a listing to the Arts Mid North Coast Website Cultural Trail you need to visit the Submit listing form and enter your details into the form. Be specific with your listings address so that Google Maps can provide an accurate location. Select a profile picture from your local machine to add to your listing and then select some related images of your work. Tick the relevant tick box for your type of listing also tick the cultural trail box and also for your Local Government area, Agree to the Terms and Conditions and then press the submit button.
Arts Mid North Coast will then be informed that you have submitted a listing and a staff member will then publish your listing to the website directory for public viewing. After submitting your listing please allow up to 48 hours for the profile to be published.
Please note that listings for the Cultural trail are specific,
Cultural Trail listings are listings of cultural significance, Art Galleries, Public Art works, Theatres, Heritage Buildings, Museums, Festivals and other Arts Venues.Cultural Trail listings does not include, Arts Organisations, Cafe’s, Businesses and individuals – these items can be included in the Arts Directory

How do I optimise an image for uploading to the site ?
If your images are too large it will be difficult to upload them to the web site. Often digital camera images can be several megabytes in size, these are too big to upload across an Internet connection efficiently!
Also many images have large physical dimensions which is why their file size is so large. To use images for use on the web it is best to resize them to make their dimensions no more than 800 pixels wide and then re save in .jpg format.
Programs such as Photoshop, Fireworks, IPhoto or other graphics software can be used to optimise your images by changing their physical size.
One recommended software package is PIXresizer, or Batch Thmbs, Both these packages are free program’s that will let you resize a whole folder of images at once – you can download PIXresizer from: http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm and Batch Thumbs from http://harmware.net/bthumbs.htm

How do I add images on the artist profile submit form ?
When you submit your artist profile using the Submit Profile form, you will see tha ability to load up to six images onto your profile listing.
To do so click on the browse button next to each blank field and a window will pop up on your computer, you will then be able to navigate to where the image is on your computer and either double click or highlight and click open. You will then see the path to your omage appear in the blank image field.
Once you have selected all the images that you wish to upload continue to the bottom of the form and hit submit.

How do I access my profile to edit the content and / or change images of my work?
Unfortunately there is currently no facility on the website for an Artist to add, delete or change their profile information/images. This is a feature that will be included in our next upgrade
To Add, Delete or change your Profile Information/Images you can either email the details directly to info@artsmidnorthcoast.org or you can submit a new profile via the Submit Profile form, State in the Profile information box that this is changed profile information and images and Arts Mid North Coast will ensure that all your details will be updated and old information deleted.
