A matinee music concert, “Reaching Out” will be on stage in the Main Hall of the Nambucca Community and Arts Centre on Sunday June 10th starting at 2.00pm The event is being organised by the Bellingen and Nambucca Rural Australians for Refugees ( RAR ) to raise funds to support refugees and asylum seekers in Australia.
All proceeds will be donated to assistance of refugees in Australia via “The Asylum Seekers Centre” which gives assistance in provision of legal services , translators , provision of respite opportunities, english lessons , housing . food aid and so forth .
Several outstanding musicians will be performing including the very talented musician Heather Rose on piano and vocals and the inimitable duo ‘The Wild Women of Anywhere Beach. The Wild Women have been singing their way through numerous cultural revolutions and standing up against injustice for many years. You are guaranteed a wonderful fun time and uplifting experience.

Tickets are $20 for Adults and $10 for Students with children free and available from The Alternative Bookshop in Bellingen or Helloworld travel in Nambucca Heads . Afternoon tea is included in the price of the tickets .
