Arts Mid North Coast is excited to launch Shared Practice, an 18-month Regional Artist Development Program designed to support emerging and mid-career visual artists living and working on the Mid North Coast of NSW.
The program connects local artists with experienced mentors to foster professional growth, artistic exploration, and community engagement. Through mentoring, group sessions, and creative development, participants will have the opportunity to gain fresh perspectives, expand their practice, and strengthen their careers in a supported environment.
“I’m super excited to be part of the program and share in the artistic journey of an amazing group of inspiring people. I can’t wait to see what evolves,” says Jeremy Sheehan, a visual artist and Lead Mentor in the Program.
Lead mentor and artist Sara Bowen adds, “Mentoring is a great way for artists to develop their career. I’m really looking forward to working with Arts Mid North Coast and sharing the participants’ journey of making new work over the next 18 months.”
Whether you’re an early-career artist looking to build confidence or a mid-career creative seeking direction, Shared Practice offers a unique opportunity to grow and deepen your practice.
