IMPORTANT NOTICE: Coronavirus (COVID‑19)

From 25 March, the Australian Government has advised the closure of the following places to the public:

  • Galleries, museums, national institutions and historic sites
  • Libraries, community centres, and youth centres
  • Local government non-essential facilities and services (such as libraries and pools)
  • Community facilities (such as community halls, clubs, RSLs, PCYCs);
  • Entertainment venues including theatres, clubs, auditoriums, concert venues.

Following NSW Government advice for all non-essential services to be closed, all museums, galleries and venues will be closed until further notice.

The following Mid North Coast arts events have been cancelled or postponed in response to COVID-19 measures:

  • Kendall Community String Workshop and Festival, 20 – 22 March
  • Dorrigo Easter Arts Exhibition, 9 – 18 April.
  • Susan O’Neil (SON) Performance, Wauchope Arts Hall, 20 March
  • Bellingen Community Markets, 20 March
  • Macleay Valley Bushfire Parade & Concert, 28 March
  • Bowraville Theatre Singers & Valla Voices, 28 March. Bowraville Theatre closed until further notice.
  • Port Writers Grassroots Writers Weekend, 27 March
  • Jellyman’s Daughter, Wauchope Arts Hall, 4 April
  • Slim Dusty Kempsey Festival, 3 – 6 September
  • Coffs Harbour Regional Museum and Gallery – all public programs and events cancelled until April 18.
  • Cinematinee at Jetty Memorial Theatre, 19 & 26 March, 16 April
  • Howling Moon Blues Festival, Port Macquarie, 6 June
  • Sydney Writers Festival Live and Local at Glasshouse, Port Macquarie, 1 - 3 May.
  • Port Macquarie Glasshouse Accessible Art Tours and Sprout Sessions - March, April.
  • Choir of Man, Port Macquarie Glasshouse, 2 April
  • Coffs Harbour Harmony Festival, 29 March
  • Nyiirun Djiyagan Wakulda Women’s Festival, Port Macquarie - postponed to October 30
  • Rockin' Through the Ages, Manning Entertainment Centre, 21 March & Jetty Theatre 18 March
  • Ian Moss, Manning Entertainment Centre, 27 March, Jetty Theatre 25/28 March

    • Captain Fantastic  - Exhibition - currently closed but pending reopening until 31 May
