The Creative Workplaces Survey is a national initiative aimed at understanding the real working conditions across Australia’s creative industries. Whether you’re involved in artistic, technical, administrative, or support roles, paid or unpaid, this survey is your chance to share your experiences.
It focuses on crucial workplace issues such as pay, safety, bullying, discrimination, and harassment. Open to anyone over 18 living in Australia and working in the creative sector, the survey is anonymous, confidential, and completely voluntary.
Taking approximately 40 minutes to complete, the survey can be done in multiple sittings. Your responses will contribute to the first national data set focused on the creative industries’ workplace culture and will help shape future government policy, support services, training programs, and workplace practices. By participating, you’re helping to improve conditions for everyone working in the sector.
To start, you’ll answer a brief eligibility questionnaire. If eligible, you’ll receive a personalised link to access the full survey. This is a unique opportunity for your voice to be heard in shaping a fairer, safer, and more supportive creative industry in Australia.
Submissions close 23 February 2026.
