The Dorrigo Folk and Bluegrass Festival, now in its 24th year, is a well-established acoustic music event that takes place on the magnificent Dorrigo Plateau, surrounded by World Heritage rainforests, rolling hills and waterfalls. It is one of a kind and the longest-running folk festival on the Mid North Coast of NSW.

The festival celebrates the genres of Folk, Bluegrass and Old time country music, recognising and encouraging tradition and the importance of creating and sustaining new advances. The festival is family-friendly, environmentally conscious and invites participation through listening and experiencing the music by way of concerts, workshops, dance and jam sessions. With the event now recognised across the globe, we are fortunate to attract artists from the US, Canada, UK, New Zealand and across Australia to present a full program.

The Old Time Music School takes place just prior to the festival and provides participants with three full days of workshops, run by international and local performers.

This year’s festival will run from Friday 23rd to Sunday evening 25th October 2026.

We encourage people to visit our website for tickets, camping and volunteer opportunities.
