Shape 2019 will showcase a selection of outstanding major projects from the NSW Higher School Certificate Design and Technology, Industrial Technology and Textiles and Design courses.
The exhibition consists of innovative and inspiring student inventions and designs from areas as diverse as animation, electronics, engineering and fashion.
The students’ works demonstrate the application of important STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) to practical real world problems. While the projects are diverse, behind each one is thorough planning, research, testing, prototyping and evaluation.
The exhibition is presented by the NSW Education Standards Authority, in association with the Glasshouse Regional Gallery and the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences, to highlight the talent and skills of students undertaking HSC Technology courses.
Exhibition Opening 15 May, 6pm. Entry is free, drinks can be purchased at the bar. Bookings essential.
