Your Story, My Story, Our Story – Onemobdreaming is a deeply personal solo exhibition by respected artist, storyteller, and cultural man Uncle Allan Phillips, presented at The Gallery, Coffs Harbour from 30 May to 29 August 2026.

This exhibition marks a significant moment, with Uncle Allan publicly exhibiting his artwork for the first time since 2017. Painting for more than 20 years, his works have found homes across Australia and internationally, with exhibitions spanning Canberra, Bellingen, Pambula, and Dorrigo.

A proud man of Worimii, Guringai and Gumbaynggirr ancestry, Uncle Allan’s artworks are grounded in connection — to Country, Ancestors, spirit, community, and shared human experience.

I am a son, a brother, an Uncle, a Father, and a Grandfather… Or as I say… I am Onemob.”

Inspired by guidance from a Senior Gumbaynggirr Loreman, Uncle Allan intentionally leaves space within each work for viewers to discover their own personal connection and meaning. Rich in symbolism, energy, and cultural storytelling, the exhibition invites audiences to slow down, connect, and listen deeply.

“Together We Will – Garlugun Girrwaa Yuludarla – Onemobdreaming”

Visitors are invited to attend a special Meet the Artist Launch Event on Friday 29 May 2026 from 5:30pm–7:30pm at The Gallery, Coffs Harbour.

Presented by Saltwater Freshwater Arts Alliance and supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW.
