Writing about your practice – Artist Statements, Bios and Professional Profiles

Learn how to confidently write about your art practice in this practical professional development workshop for artists.

This 3-hour session will guide participants through writing an artist statement, professional bio and artwork descriptions for exhibitions, grants, websites, and social media.

Participants will also receive a professional headshot session included in the workshop fee perfect for updating your artist profile and promotional material. These images will be taken by the talented Brad Collins, and each participant will receive one image to use for promotion.

The session will be facilitated by Skye Petho, Programs and Partnerships Manager for Arts Mid North Coast and includes a light morning tea.
