Kempsey Council’s Community Grants program provides funding to eligible not-for-profit organisations and community groups to deliver projects, programs, activities and events that strengthen and benefit the Kempsey Shire community.
Funding Available
A total of $103,000 is available through the 2026–2027 Community Grants Program.
- Community Initiatives Fund — $30,000 available | Up to $5,000 per application
- Creative Macleay Fund — $20,000 available | Up to $5,000 per application
- Sporting Fund — $20,000 available | Up to $2,500 per application
- Environmental Fund — $20,000 available | Up to $5,000 per application
- Micro Grants — $13,000 available | Up to $500 per application
Please note: Festive, Seniors Festival, Youth Week and NAIDOC Week activities are generally supported through Council’s Micro Grants Program. Micro Grants provide a simplified application process and operate separately to the main Community Grants Program funding round. See page 7 of the Community Grants Program Guidelines for application dates and further information.
