Created by local artist Chad Allard and located on the bank of the Macleay River in the picturesque town of Gladstone.
This mural harks back to the town’s long fishing heritage. Featuring on one side a trio of Indigenous men spearing fish from the river bank; and on the other side a large bass is hooked from aboard the “Gladstone” steam powered stern-wheeler which transported fishermen out to Shark Island at Fishermans Reach.
