Nambucca Valley’s Major Events Sponsorship Grants Now Open

The annual Nambucca Valley Council Major Events Sponsorship Program is now open for submissions.

This competitive program supports events in the Nambucca Valley Local Government Area that increase visitation and overnight stays, stimulate local economic activity, strengthen the Nambucca Valley’s identity and profile, activate public spaces and town centres and build local event capability and sustainability.

Funding will be delivered via two tiers:

• Major Event Sponsorship Funding: Two grants of between $5,001–$10,000 available, for events that attract overnight visitors, have a marketing plan, generate an income stream to reinvest in their event, and contribute significantly to the local economy.

• Emerging Major Event Sponsorship Funding: Up to ten grants of up to $5,000 available, for events that attract day visitors from outside the Nambucca Valley, are unique or promote unique characteristics of the Nambucca Valley.
