Open call for young artists

Entries are now open for the 2026 ArtWalk x Luminance Young Artists Exhibition.

Hosted by Luminance Art Gallery and ArtWalk Port Macquarie, this exhibition showcases the creative talents of young and emerging artists across the NSW Mid North Coast.

NSW Mid North Coast artists aged 12 – 24 years are eligible to enter one artwork per person, maximum artwork size is 1m x 1m.

“Works must be original, created by the entrant, and completed after 1 March 2025. We’ve kept this exhibition free to enter, so there is no barrier to participation” says Luminance curator Dominic O’Grady.

Artworks must be framed (or mounted on foam-core if on paper) and fitted with D-rings for hanging.

Submissions close at 9am on 5 May 2026.
