Australian Design Centre and JMGA-NSW are calling for entries for PROFILE 2025: JMGA-NSW Contemporary Jewellery and Object Award.

The 8th Jewellers and Metalsmiths Group of Australia NSW (JMGA-NSW) biennial curated award exhibition for contemporary jewellery, objects and metalwork is a significant curated Award exhibition made possible by and for members of JMGA-NSW.

Established and early career artists are invited to enter their work.

Work entered must have been created on or after 30 June 2023.

All entrants must also be members of JMGA-NSW at the time of entry. Visit JMGA-NSW to join.

Finalists will be exhibited at the Australian Design Centre, 101-115 William Street, Darlinghurst, from Thursday 13 March to Saturday 17 May 2025. Winners will be announced at the launch event on Thursday 13 March, 6-8pm.

Entries close: 14 February 2025
Entrants notified by: 21 February 2025
Delivery of work for exhibition by: 7 March 2025
Opening Night: Thursday 13 March 2025
Exhibition: 13 March – 17 May 2025

Selection will be based on the following criteria:

  • Concept
  • Quality
  • Originality

Awards
JMGA NSW Established Contemporary Jewellery Award – $3000
JMGA NSW Early Career Contemporary Jewellery Award – $1500
The Helge Larsen Award – $2000
Australian Design Centre Award – 2026 Object Space exhibition

The Award winners will be announced at opening night on Thursday 13 March 2025.
