Sound NSW’s Contemporary Music Development Grants support career sustainability for artists and acts to create and promote new music, enable music organisations to deliver significant sector development projects, and offer dedicated programs to support Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander artists, acts and organisations essential to the contemporary music sector in NSW.
There are different funding programs for artists/acts and organisations.
The program runs across four streams:
- First Nations Creative and Professional Development
- Recording, Content and Promotion
- First Nations Industry Development
- Industry Development
Applications close September 21, at 2pm.
Sound NSW are hosting online information sessions to help you learn more about the program and navigate the application process.
- Monday 24 August from 1pm – 1:45pm – this session will cover an overview of each of the four programs.
- Wednesday 26 August from 1pm – 1:45pm – this session will cover an overview of the dedicated First Nations programs.
