Wow, what an incredible week at the 39th Camp Creative in beautiful Bellingen (13-17 January 2025)! The hills were alive with creativity as people of all ages came together for five amazing days of artistic exploration and community spirit. The town was absolutely buzzing with energy as participants dove into an incredible array of activities.

From paintbrushes flying across canvases to the rhythmic tapping of dancers learning Bollywood, every corner of Bellingen was transformed into a creative haven. Returning students (and we had loads of them!) greeted old friends with warm hugs while welcoming newcomers into the fold. That’s the magic of Camp Creative – it feels like coming home to your artistic family!

The workshops were on fire this year! We had folks discovering their inner artists in drawing classes, sewers creating fabulous pieces, and woodworkers crafting beautiful furniture from scratch. The air was filled with joyful singing, while others found their zen in Qigong sessions. Some clever crafters even turned plants into gorgeous natural dyes for their projects – how cool is that?

Speaking of creating magic – hey, all you talented artists and craftspeople out there! We’re already planning for next year’s Camp Creative (mark your calendars for 12-16 January 2026), and we’d love to have you join our amazing tutor team. Got a skill you’re passionate about sharing? We want to hear from you! Course proposals are being accepted until March 31st, 2025, so there’s plenty of time to put your ideas together.

The best part? Seeing complete strangers become fast friends over shared creative adventures. That’s what keeps people coming back year after year – it’s not just about learning new skills, it’s about being part of something truly special. Some of our tutors have been with us for over 20 years, they can’t resist coming back! Roll on Camp Creative 2026!
