The Contemporary Music Development Grants will support career sustainability for artists and acts to create and promote new music, enable music organisations to deliver significant sector development projects, and offer dedicated programs to support First Nations artists, acts and organisations essential to the contemporary music sector in NSW.

For Artists and Acts
Contemporary Music Development Grants – First Nations Creative and Professional Development
This grant is for First Nations NSW artists and acts with an existing body of work in contemporary music to support creation, recording and promotion of new and original contemporary music, professional development and the purchase of equipment.
Grant amount: Up to $30,000
Contemporary Music Development Grants – Recording, Content and Promotion
This funding program is designed for artists and acts with an existing body of work in contemporary music. It offers grants to support career sustainability through creation, recording and promotion of new and original contemporary music.

For Organisations
Contemporary Music Development Grants – First Nations Industry Development
This grant supports First Nations-led music programs and resources that build the capacity of artists, industry professionals and music businesses, address best practice and emerging trends, promote music in NSW and deliver research and advocacy.
