  • Tickets range from $15 to $28 per session. Fringe events are free.

Nestled in the stunning Mid North Coast of NSW, our Festival has blossomed into a beloved gathering of literary lovers, which brings together world-renowned icons and emerging voices for an unforgettable weekend of creativity and connection.

Each year during the June long weekend, we come together in Bellingen on the breathtaking traditional lands of the Gumbaynggirr people and surrounded by the UNESCO World Heritage–listed natural beauty that inspires us all. Our Festival bursts with contemporary Australian voices, from acclaimed fiction writers and sharp political commentators to powerful First Nations creators, LGBTQI+ storytellers, and live performers who light up the stage.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there! In the lead-up to the Festival, our Schools Program brings the joy of storytelling to young minds across the Mid North Coast with a week full of interactive and inspiring sessions.

Whether you’re a seasoned Festival-goer or a first-time visitor, our welcoming, inclusive and dynamic lineup includes something for everyone. Come celebrate stories, ideas and the power of words with us!

Main Program tickets go on sale on 10 April, 2025. An Early Bird discount applies to the end of April.

Tickets for the famous Festival Poetry Slam go on sale on 17 March, 2025, and will sell out quickly, so book straight away!
