Celebrating Australia Day at Douglas Vale

Come to Douglas Vale to celebrate Australia Day at Port Macquarie's hidden gem where our picturesque grounds and winery is operated only by volunteers!

Chill and enjoy a picnic while listening to some great local talent. No BYO alcohol, but bring a picnic rug or chairs. Marquee shade provided.

Great line-up of performers: Port Macquarie and Wauchope Pipes and Drums; Ken 'Chainsaw' Lindsay; Andy Nong; Cassie Rose and Alex McLeod then an Open Mic from 12:30 - 2:30 when the event concludes.

$5 entry donation per adult over 16 years.

Enjoy an informative tour of the historic homestead and vineyard.

Start the day with an Aussie-style breakfast BBQ at 9am with egg and bacon rolls or a sausage sizzle.

Other Aussie treats, icecream, hot beverages and cold drinks for sale.

Best dressed Aussie and Aussie-themed pooch competition.

Slip & Slide for the kids, along with other activities.

Raffle prizes include a Billabong Zoo voucher, a large plant nurtured by our keen gardeners and Douglas Vale wine.

The Cellar opens from 10am; cheese plates also available. Strictly no BYO.

Located between the two Westport schools on the Oxley Highway. Parking available onsite or next door at the Oxley Lifelong Learning Centre.
