Join us for an enlightening evening with renowned peace and human rights activist Robert Martin as we explore the complexities in the Israel-Palestine conflict. This event offers a unique opportunity to engage with one of the most influential voices in the struggle for justice and human rights in the region.

About the Speakers and Highlighs:
Robert Martin:
Australian human rights activist that has dedicated his life to advocating for peace, justice, and human rights in some of the world’s most challenging conflict zones. With extensive experience on the ground in both Israel and Palestine, Robert brings a wealth of knowledge and a deeply compassionate perspective to the discussion. Robert will share insights from his extensive experience in the region, discussing the current state of the conflict, the human rights implications.

Rouba Rayan:
Rouba is a Palestinian woman with a strong connection to her homeland.In Australia, she worked as a lawyer representing survivors of institutional abuse during the Royal Commission and during this time, she travelled to the Occupied Palestinian Territories to study International Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law within the OPT with the Al Haq Centre for Human Rights.Rouba's father is a survivor of the 1948 Naqba and his siblings and their children are all currently experiencing the genocide in Gaza.

Dany Alarab:
palestinian Australian educator for over 20 years and activist that dedicated himself to palestinian human rights and grassroots organizing, working with local palestine action gumbaynggirr group. He played a pivotal role in initiatives aimed to oppose the current genocide.
He has been invited to speak at various events, where he shares his experiences and insights on the resilience and strength of the Palestinian people.
