Fibre Flair! is a temporary exhibition featuring works by Port Macquarie U3A Textile & Fibre artists inspired by some remarkable objects from the Port Macquarie Museum's collection. The featured artworks explore fibre art techniques, form and materials to reimagine historical objects.
Developed for the 2025 NSW Seniors Festival, the Fibre Flair! exhibition opens on 3 March with a Meet the Artists Day supported by a NSW Seniors Festival Grant. This year's festival theme is 'Time to Shine' and the exhibition shines a light on the Textile and Fibre artists work and the collection items that inspired them.
Seniors will receive free entry to the exhibition and other exhibits during the NSW Seniors Festival - 3 to 15 March 2025.
