Hand Sewing 101

Learn the core skills of hand sewing: different fabrics and fabric choices, design and colour inspiration, and different hand stitching and embellishment techniques including embroidery and embellishment.

This is a fun and friendly group of like-minded enthusiasts who want to learn (or re-learn) the basics.

Each week we will produce a fun, manageable hand-sewn project using a host of the above techniques which will give you the confidence to embark on bigger, more ambitious projects.

Each project is specifically designed so that beginners aren’t overwhelmed or intimidated. But if you already have a sewing background, use these sessions to build on your techniques and creativity.

A light morning tea of tea and pastries will be served.
