IMMERSION: Leonie Cooper Squires

IMMERSION, presents a new body of work from Bellingen-based artist Leonie Cooper Squires.
Stemming from her 50yr career with colour and surface design techniques, the exhibition showcases her unique exploration into botanical printing processes onto silk, wool, linen and cotton. Sampled from the environment both native and exotic plant forms, alchemise with these natural fibres to reveal striking process-based designs.

A RETROSPECTIVE: Kari Winer

It is 10 years since Kari Winer left us with her legacy of (among other things) her ceramic art, prints and music.
This exhibition is a timely celebration of her legacy and an opportunity for as much of her remaining art to move out into the world to be celebrated and enjoyed. Most of her work will be for sale.
Kari held art as a central tenet of life, deserving of its own right to exist without necessarily being held in reference to other aspects of life. The act of creation was as important or perhaps more important than the artwork itself.
