March 1 and 2, 2025 will see violinist finalists from all over Australia arrive in Kendall NSW to compete for the honour of being the winner of The Kendall National Violin Competition!
A panel of professional judges from Sydney will oversee the proceedings and decide who will win the coveted hand crafted violin by famed luthier, John Simmers. Dr Goetz Richter AM, who is Associate Professor Head of Strings at The Sydney Conservatorium of Music, is the Musical Director and orchestrater of this high profile and important event. Senior Finals are held Sat Mar 1 at 2.00pm, with the Junior Finalists playing on Sun Mar 2 at 11.00am. At the conclusion of the competition there will be a special presentation and celebration concert commencing at 2.30pm.
Music lovers are highly encouraged to attend as this will see performances of world class standard. The three piano accompanists have all been successful overseas and are keen to grace the stage with our talented artists.
