“New Beginnings” is a vibrant exhibition showcasing the work of eleven diverse Mid North Coast artists, each reflecting on themes of renewal and transformation. Inspired by the freshness of Spring and the changing seasons, this collection offers an uplifting and varied artistic experience.

Featured artists include:

  • Roxy Rosa who draws on both her Danish and Australian heritage and uses her love of nature and the human form to create emotive and spiritual pieces. Roxy favours acrylic paints, paint markers.
  • Jenny Thorby loves the mystery of printmaking and is inspired by her travels in the outback where old houses, flowers, birds and a never-ending love of nature beckon her to take many photographs. She then uses these to create her unique prints and scraperboard images.
  • Christopher Wynne, presenting birds in a new light with his intricate photography and storytelling, utilising metallic pens on chosen timber.
  • Chris Fahey, a master of fused glass art, whose works range from functional to sculptural, illuminated by the interplay of light and the beauty of nature.

The exhibition celebrates the new creative space of Dorrigo & Beyond, a fusion of café, artisan gallery, and bookstore, welcoming visitors daily. Join us for the opening celebration on Wednesday, 11 September from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.
