The Natimuk Exile Arts Residency is designed to support innovative and immersive artistic practices, providing space for creative exploration and collaboration. Located in the scenic regional town of Natimuk, the residency welcomes artists interested in engaging with themes of landscape, community, transience, and sensory interaction. Participants have the opportunity to develop site-specific works, leveraging the region’s natural beauty and the unique context of the community. The program fosters cross-disciplinary experimentation and is open to both emerging and established artists seeking a focused, supportive environment.

Natimuk has its own Biennale arts festival, which has a focus on new work and the residency gives you the opportunity to meet, collaborate or be inspired by these very welcoming artists and the friendly community. http://natifrinj.com

The residency is owned by artist Dr Greg Pritchard who has had residencies in Australia, Africa and Asia and appreciates how useful it is to have a great space in which to think and make art.
