Throughout the 1980’s Trevor owned and operated three sports stores in Sydney with a turnover in excess of $1
million and founded Nu-Tred Pty Limited, a company that specialised in a process that resoled all styles of sports shoes.
In 1990 Trevor took on the position of General Manager of the Hastings Business Enterprise Centre and from there worked
on a blueprint for the future economic development of the region. Trevor was able to implement much of the Hastings
Development Plan in the ensuing 17 years employed as Council’s Economic Development Manager.
Now working as an industry consultant and dedicated to his new role as a Councillor, Trevor has combined his
experience in business development and growing business capacity with a passion for wanting to see the Hastings
continue to build on its strengths for economic sustainability.
