Insurance for Groups

Regional Arts NSW offers group insurance policies for its members and affiliated members in association with Finsura Insurance Broking (Australia) Pty Ltd (Finsura). To participate in this scheme, your organisation must be a current financial member of Regional Arts NSW Ltd.

Any body corporate which is a not for profit Local Arts Organisation may apply for affiliate membership of the Company. This means any not for profit organisation based in regional or rural NSW that is a legal entity, such as an incorporated association, and that has in its objectives an arts or cultural purpose, can apply for membership. This could be an arts council, a festival, an artists’ society, a writers group, a film society and so on.

As an affiliated member of Regional Arts NSW your organisation can obtain access to the group insurance policies. This provides a number of advantages as you have access to specific insurance products/policies which are brokered across a large network of clients working in the arts and cultural sector in regional NSW. The annual subscription for affiliated members is $55.00 including GST and is due and payable on 1st April each year. An application form for membership must be completed and forwarded to Regional Arts NSW.
Regional Arts NSW has two policies which are available for purchase for its members.

  • Broadform Liability or ‘Public Liability’ Insurance
  • Voluntary Workers Personal Accident Insurance

Unfortunately, they are not able to offer insurance to individual artists.
