Authority and agency rest with First Nations peoples, and we ensure that ownership and control of cultural content, storytelling, and knowledge remain with community members and artists.
We recognise and respect the role of Saltwater Freshwater Arts Alliance Aboriginal Corporation (SWFW) in delivering arts and cultural programs across the Mid North Coast that support the Biripi, Worimi, Dunghutti and Gumbaynggirr Nations.
We collaborate with SWFW to incorporate cultural perspectives into AMNC's First Nations programs to support culturally appropriate initiatives that honour cultural rights and uphold community protocols.
