Are you currently working in the arts and creative industries in Australia? We want to hear from you!
As part of our Scoping Creative Futures: Career Journey Mapping project, Service and Creative Skills Australia (SaCSA) is addressing ongoing workforce shortages by uncovering the gaps, challenges and opportunities within career pathways across the Arts. The project aims to capture real-world career pathways across Performing Arts; Visual Arts, Craft and Design; Writing and Publishing; Digital Games; Screen; and Music.
We are mapping creative, technical and administrative roles to better understand:
- How careers begin and progress
- Common transition points and challenges
- Skills development pathways
- Barriers to attraction and retention
Insights from this work will support improved training pathways, workforce planning and policy development.
