In collaboration with researchers, Patternmakers, Arts Mid North Coast is embarking on a comprehensive initiative aimed at understanding the pulse of our vibrant arts community in 2024 with our Creative Sector Mapping Research Project.

This project seeks to identify the pressing issues, unmet needs, and existing gaps within the creative sector, serving as a guiding compass to shape Arts Mid North Coast’s future strategic plans, projects, and programs. Your participation is invaluable in ensuring our endeavours align with the community’s aspirations.

The project will kick off with two free evening discussion events to explore opportunities for the arts across our region:

  • Port Macquarie: 6pm Thursday 4 April, The Glasshouse Port Macquarie
  • Coffs Harbour: 6pm Friday 5 April , The Bunker National Cartoon Gallery
  • First Nations Gathering: 11am Monday 8 April, Saltwater Freshwater Gallery, 8 Park St, Coffs Harbour

There’ll be conversation, wine, nibblies and a chance to meet fellow creatives.

Together, we can prioritise the right actions for our creative community, and make the Mid North Coast a vibrant place to live, work and visit.
