Art Exhibition – Fabulous Fakes

Opening at 2 pm on Sunday, 15 June, Fabulous Fakes is a popular and playful exhibition by the Coffs Harbour Creative Arts Group (CHCAG), where members reimagine and reinterpret iconic works from art history. From Old Masters to Cubists, Impressionists to Realists, this showcase is a tribute to the greats, with a twist.

CHCAG artists draw inspiration from the past to create something entirely new, using various media including acrylics, watercolour, pencil, pastel, collage, and photography. The result is a dynamic display of skill, humour, and originality.

Reflecting the broad range of disciplines taught through CHCAG’s classes, workshops, and demo days, Fabulous Fakes offers something for every art lover. Visitors often marvel at the creativity and skill and may even find a unique piece to take home, as all works are for sale.
