Pines Picnic Area Mosaic Sculpture – Yarrahapinni National Park

The Pines Picnic Area, Yarriabini National Park

A stunning piece of public art is at the Pines Picnic area at the foot of Mt. Yarrahapinni. This large artwork uses traditional Aboriginal painting styles. The work reflects the coming together of the local Gumbaynggir and Dunghutti Aboriginal communities who share a common Aboriginal cultural dreaming story related to the creation of Mount Yarrahapinni.
