Our 2024 MiNi (digital) Concerts are well underway, nine successful local artists have been selected for the series, with filming of original music performances to take place in December at The Bowraville Theatre and The Never, Never Mind in Dorrigo, and release planned for early 2025. This exciting initiative, brought to you by Arts Mid North Coast in partnership with Music NSW is designed to help local musicians reach broader audiences and create new opportunities within the industry.

Now we’d like to introduce the all-star crew behind the 2024 series! These five Mid North Coast creatives all have extensive industry experience in their field and we’re thrilled to have them on board to deliver our 2024 MiNi (digital) Concerts.

Sara-Jayne Prince – Project Manager

Sara-Jayne Prince is an event manager, photographer, music promoter and artist manager working and residing on beautiful Gumbaynggirr/Dunghutti country.

Sara started her business Archive Mid North Coast in 2021 to boost the arts and culture of the region during and after the tough pandemic times.  Archive aims to provide opportunities for local and touring artists and musicians, through unique creative events that run at different character-filled venues between Coffs Harbour and the Nambucca Valley. More recently, Sara has taken up artist management to make use of her organisation, communication and networking skills, as well as her love for music.

Brad CollinsVideography

Brad Collins is a multi-disciplinary creative, living and working on Birpai Land. Through videography, photography, art and illustration, Brad creates visual imagery to compliment his and his client’s work, which includes illustrated album artworks, filming of music videos, or capturing live performances.

To kickstart Brad’s video work in the music realm, he created Dark Alley Sessions, a live acoustic performance series, filmed in Dark Alley Collectables record store in Port Macquarie, NSW, which he filmed and edited. As this series began to take off, more opportunities arose, such as being hired to film and edit Arts Mid North Coast’s 2022 MiNi (digital) Concert Series. Through the success of the series, Brad became, and continues to be a full time creative, rapidly growing with his client list across the Mid North Coast and Australia wide.

Josh Matheson – Audio Production

Josh Matheson / AKA Lttle Kng, has been producing and releasing music for the last 12 years. Having worked with producers like Alex Gooden (Safia / Meg Mac) and collaborated with artists like The Versace Boys, Tanuki & Animal Ventura, his love for creating dope sounds continues to grow. Now producing for several North Coast based artists, Lttle Kng has also been working with organisations such as Smart Arts and Grow The Music to provide music production and beat making workshops to youth across the coast and hoping to do more of that in the future!

Kate Atkinson – Photography

With 17 years’ experience in the creative industries, Kate Atkinson has worked in a wide variety of roles from tour management, event coordination, programming, stage management and band management, taking her around to world and extensively to remote Australia.

An award-winning photographer, she was the recipient of People’s Choice award in the 2019 National Photographic Portrait Prize and the 2023 Olive Cotton Award. She was awarded first place in the 2022 Maldon Photo Prize and the 2021 Stanthorpe Photography Awards.

Kate also teaches photography weekly at Phoenix Gallery in Bowraville and on occasion travels to remote Indigenous communities to conduct workshops. Kate delves into both digital and film, with a love for medium format and spending hours in her home darkroom.

Mikaela Grob – Host

Mik is a high school teacher, musician and music lover living in Port Macquarie who was featured in our original MiNi (digital) Concerts back in 2022. When she’s not teaching, Mik is writing, recording or producing music under the name mikk and when she’s not doing any of the above she’s likely hanging out with her dog, Juni or fishing.
