The Australian Government’s Regional Arts Fund will provide $620,000 to support 25 new projects in regional, rural, and remote New South Wales in 2026.

Australian Government Minister for the Arts, the Hon Tony Burke MP said, “Where you live, shouldn’t dictate your level of involvement within Australia’s art sector. This funding will create over 850 jobs for regional artists and arts workers across Australia.

“From Mullumbimby, to Emerald, Warrnambool and Rapid Creek, audiences will get to experience some incredible projects across a range of diff erent mediums.

“We know there’s a story for every place and a place for every story and this funding only further supports that.”

RANSW CEO, Dr Tracey Callinan OAM, commented, “This year we saw an unprecedently high demand for funding and many high quality applications. The successful applications in this year’s round of project grants from the Regional Arts Fund are a testament to the quality of and need for the arts in regional NSW and the impact it has in regional communities.”

The Regional Arts Fund is an Australian Government program that supports sustainable cultural development in regional and remote communities in Australia. The program is managed by Regional Arts Australia and administered in New South Wales by Regional Arts NSW.
