Music NSW has announced the appointment of Sara-Jayne Prince as Regional Coordinator for the Mid North Coast, Upper Hunter and Orana regions — and it's an appointment that will resonate across the local music community.
"We're thrilled to welcome Sara-Jayne Prince to Music NSW," the organisation said. "You may know Sara as an avid regional music champion, with years of experience as an event manager, photographer, music promoter and artist manager."
Based on Gumbaynggirr Country, Sara-Jayne is also the founder of Archive Mid North Coast, established in 2021 with a clear purpose: to support local and touring artists and reinvigorate the region's arts and culture scene in the wake of the pandemic.
Through Archive, she has created intimate, character-filled events at venues across the Coffs Harbour to Nambucca Valley corridor, building a reputation for fostering inclusive spaces where live music genuinely thrives.
Her advocacy for live performance and her deep commitment to regional music ecosystems make her a natural fit for the role. As Regional Coordinator, Sara-Jayne will work directly with artists and industry to strengthen networks, build skills and grow opportunities for musicians across her regions.
We congratulate Sara-Jayne on this well-deserved appointment and look forward to seeing what she brings to the Mid North Coast music scene.
