Artist and art therapist Marg Coutts delivered an arts-based, one-day workshop for the Dorrigo community to assist participants in developing creative practices to support their recovery from natural disasters, specifically the Black Summer Bushfires. The workshop consisted of creative expression through writing, drawing and painting facilitated through a trauma-informed lens, making it broadly accessible and non-confronting. Community members experienced how creativity can support well-being through simple and relaxing arts activities.
