Bellingen is gearing up for its annual summer transformation as tickets for the highly anticipated Camp Creative are officially on sale.
With a rich and diverse program featuring 89 hands-on courses spanning visual arts, music, writing, dance, craft, and performance, the week-long event is experiencing high demand. In a record response, 24 courses have already completely sold out, prompting organisers to urge Mid North Coast locals to secure their places quickly.
Held every January across Bellingen's school campuses and community spaces, Camp Creative brings together over one thousand participants of all skill levels—from curious beginners to experienced makers—for an immersive week of creative learning, connection, and community spirit.
"The response this year has been extraordinary," says Nicole Ruigrok (Event Coordinator). "Having over a quarter of our workshops fill up so quickly shows just how keen people are to switch off, reconnect with their passions, and try something new. For Mid North Coast residents, it’s a world-class creative experience right on our doorstep—no long-distance travel required."
The remaining courses cover a broad mix of creative disciplines for adults and youth alike. Highlights still available include (but not limited to) workshops in Acro Yoga, Ukulele, Bollywood Dance, Woodwork, Ikebana, Guitar, Visual Art, Kids Drama, and so much more!
