The Urunga Small Sculpture Prize is the only yearly competition hosted by the Art Space Urunga. This year, due to the generosity of many sponsors, the prize pool has increased to $10,000!
The award supports and promotes original freestanding or wall-mounted sculptures in any medium, and is open to sculptors Australia-wide.
With a prize pool now totaling $10,000 the Art Space expects there will be more entries this year than ever. The broadening of entries to all over Australia is a step in seeing Urunga’s competition becoming one of the premier Small Sculpture competitions in regional Australia.
Invitations to enter the Urunga Small Sculpture Prize are extended to all sculptors, any medium, from anywhere in Australia. But time is limited! Entries close at 6pm on August 11, so make sure you get your entries in on time.
The 2024 finalists’ works will be on display at Art Space gallery in Urunga in a free exhibition running from the 14th September to the 13th of October 2024, with all sculptures on sale to the public.
