The Phoenix Art Prize is debuting this year, seeking to recognise and showcase the talent by artists living with a disability in our region!
This is a free entry prize, open to 16+ artists of all levels of experience who identify themselves as living with a disability. Artists must be living anywhere on the Mid North Coast in NSW.
To apply please visit https://nvp.org.au/ability-arts-connect where you will find the guidelines and a form you will need to fill out to submit your application.
The Phoenix Art Prize is part of Ability Arts Connect MNC, a major event coming up this year in August. The aim of the project is to connect, celebrate, and inform artists, their carers and support organisations, through a two-day event including conferences, art workshops, exhibition, and art prize to be held at Nambucca Valley Phoenix, in Bowraville NSW. We will have more information closer to the date.
This project is possible thanks to the support of Regional Arts Australia and Arts Mid North Coast.
Phoenix prize judges include curator from Coffs regional Gallery Ashleigh frost, Doctor Emma Gently and Director of Arts MNC Olivia Parker.
